While we have many programs to protect our employees, we have never had a dedicated person to advocate and partner with employees to meet safety and wellness goals. In past years, we've worked with different agencies that have treated us well but weren't “us."  We needed a more holistic approach.

Outdoor Cap and JUNK participate in Salvation Army's Magical Toy Drive

On Wednesday, November 30, Outdoor Cap and JUNK team members were able to participate in a $1000 shopping spree for new toys for the Salvation Army Magical Toy Drive in partnership with KNWA. Our lobbies in the 1201 building and the JUNK building hosted public drop-off spots for donations of new unwrapped toys. Outdoor Cap and JUNK joined the main sponsors this year and are grateful for the opportunity to help locally.
 
SALVATION-ARMY-SHOPPING-SPREE-14The Salvation Army Magical Toy Drive makes the holiday season a little brighter by gifting presents to underprivileged children. The Outdoor Cap team members were paired up, each given a cart, and the spree was split between them. Dustin Boyd's group tried to average $10-12 a toy to optimize the number of children that could receive a gift this Christmas.

Dustin said, "It's great to work somewhere with the capacity to give back to the community with resources. We don't just sell hats. We help improve the value of the community around us. The toy drive is an important reminder that there are a lot of people that still need help."

Andi Pratt Joins Outdoor Cap's Executive Team as Head of Commerce

We are excited to announce that Andi Pratt has joined Outdoor Cap Company's executive team as our Head of Commerce. Andi brings over 19 years of CPG and Retail sales and marketing leadership experience to Outdoor Cap. Her experience includes time at companies large and small with household names like Nestle, Coca Cola, and Oak Ridge Winery. Andi will focus on driving Outdoor Cap's overall omni-channel commerce strategy across each business channel in Retail, Team Sports, Promotional Products, Golf, and all B2B and B2C businesses that are part of the Outdoor Cap family.

Beachbilly Lifestyle Caps Now Available at Walmart

Outdoor Cap, one of the world's largest and most diverse headwear companies, partnered with Beachbilly Lifestyle to create expertly crafted headwear combined with Beachbilly's signature simplicity and sunshine.

Beachbilly Lifestyle is a combination of country living with a laid back beach lifestyle. The brand now includes a television show and apparel company. Josh Brown, founder of Beachbilly Lifestyle, along with his wife and kids, live, film, and spread the "Beachbilly" lifestyle in Pensacola, Florida. 

"Joining the Outdoor Cap family was one of the best decisions we made since starting Beachbilly Lifestyle. From their production and development team all the way to the head office, they have made this experience and journey amazing." said Brown.

Outdoor Cap invited Brown to their home office in Bentonville, Arkansas to tour the facility and review designs with the headwear experts themselves.

Kyle Watkins, Director of Sales for Outdoor Cap, said, "Josh and his team have been fantastic to work with from day one. They allowed our teams to show true headwear expertise by enabling us to combine current market trends with their brand to create an amazing headwear assortment that has something for everyone."

During the visit, Brown toured Outdoor Cap's warehouse where each Beachbilly cap is decorated and filmed his experience

The headwear line, featuring 8 different Beachbilly styles, is now available for purchase at 50 Walmart stores throughout the southeast region of the United States.
