When it comes to promo products, you know that it all comes down to the value added to what you do.
It’s a little harder to measure impressions on a physical item than it is for digital ads. Still, ASI’s study shows that one hat generates about 3,136
impressions in its estimated lifetime of 7 months with its wearer (and we’ve
found some people keep their hats for up to 4 years).
2022 was a great year for Outdoor Cap. We had a lot of changes, spent a lot of time together, and were able
to
help our community and each other. We look forward to everything coming in 2023.
Safety and wellness have been top of mind at Outdoor Cap. While we have many programs to protect our
employees,
we have never had a dedicated person to advocate and partner with employees to meet safety and wellness
goals. In
past years, we've worked with different agencies that have treated us well but weren't “us." We needed
a
more holistic approach.
On Wednesday, November 30, Outdoor Cap and JUNK team members were able to participate in a $1000 shopping
spree
for new toys for the Salvation Army Magical Toy Drive in partnership with KNWA. Our lobbies in the 1201
building
and the JUNK building hosted public drop-off spots for donations of new unwrapped toys. Outdoor Cap and JUNK
joined the main sponsors this year and are grateful for the opportunity to help locally.
The Salvation Army Magical Toy Drive
makes the holiday season a little
brighter by gifting presents to underprivileged children. The Outdoor Cap team members were paired up, each
given
a cart, and the spree was split between them. Dustin Boyd's group tried to average $10-12 a toy to optimize
the
number of children that could receive a gift this Christmas.
Dustin said, "It's great to work
somewhere
with the capacity to give back to the community with resources. We don't just sell hats. We help improve the
value
of the community around us. The toy drive is an important reminder that there are a lot of people that still
need
help."
As we move from November, we still keep generosity and gratitude in our hearts. We hope you had a wonderful
Thanksgiving break and are looking forward to the rest of the Holidays. We at Outdoor Cap only exist because
of the outstanding employees that come together every day excited about what they do and looking forward to
making change for the better in the industry.
We are excited to announce that Andi Pratt has joined Outdoor

with household names like Nestle, Coca Cola, and Oak Ridge Winery. Andi will focus on driving Outdoor Cap's
overall omni-channel commerce strategy across each business channel in Retail, Team Sports, Promotional
Products, Golf, and all B2B and B2C businesses that are part of the Outdoor Cap family.
Outdoor Cap is full of hard working individuals. These hard working employees always come in willing to grow
and
become a better employee. They come in day in and day out and give 100%. One employee in the company who
comes
into the office working hard and leaves to do something not many people on the planet do, is Chuck Cates.
