2017 Content Marketing Awards
Outdoor Cap Company, Inc. is proud to announce our Hatswork blog has been selected as a finalist for the 2017 Content Marketing Award (CMA) for Best Content Marketing Program in Manufacturing!
The CMAs are produced by the Content Marketing Institute (CMI); they’re the longest-running international content marketing awards program in the world.

Incident Free
On July 8th our Domestic Embroidery team celebrated 200 days incident free.
On July 20th, our Bentonville Distribution Center celebrated 500 days incident free.
Blood Drive
On July 7th we hosted a blood drive for our employees. We were 127% to our goal!
F.R.E.D.I. Movie
Outdoor Cap created custom caps for the cast and crew of F.R.E.D.I. as they filmed on location in Bentonville, Arkansas. We also
provided dozens of caps to be used and worn as props in the movie.
Employment
With locations in Arkansas, California, and Texas, we currently employ 370 people, but that number is always changing. Check out all of our employment updates for the month including promotions, new hires, and even open positions.
Promotions
We’re always working to help our team members grow in their current positions as well as advance to new roles and take on additional responsibilities. We’re proud to say 3 employees received promotions in July.
Kellie Sangwin
Kellie oversees Supply Chain and Order Management. She recently expanded her role to include Sourcing as well.
Mia Standard
Mia has been promoted to VP of Product Development. Mia began her career at Outdoor Cap in 2004 on the Product Development team, so we’re excited to see her come full circle.
Sara Wages
Sara is transitioning from Order Management Coordinator to Product Strategy Manager.
New Hires
Outdoor Cap is constantly growing, and our team members very quickly become our family. Check out our newest additions for the month of July.
Kitty Lee
Kitty is based in Hong Kong and has been brought on as our new Asia Sourcing Manager. She has years of experience in apparel and headwear.
Kristen Longinotti
Kristen comes to us from Acumen Brands; she has a degree in finance from the University of Central Arkansas. Kristen will be taking on the role of Product Strategy Manager.
