Halloween at OC

On the afternoon of Thursday, October 31^st, we opened our doors to OC family members for Halloween. Trick-or-treaters were able to go from department to department picking up candy and snacks, and even petting puppies!

PPAI Gold Pyramid Awards

Since 2017, Outdoor Cap Company, Inc. has made a concerted effort to publicize its products and programs by entering a number of industry competitions.

We have been lucky enough to have received a PPAI Gold Pyramid Award in both 2018 and 2019 for Hatswork and OneTouch by Outdoor Cap. We won Counselor Magazine’s Best Supplier Self Promotion Award for our Business Development Kits (BDKs). Additionally, Hatswork was a finalist for a Content Marketing Award in 2017.

We recently received word from PPAI that we are receiving not one but two Gold Pyramid Awards in 2020!

Hatswork is once again bringing home the Technology award for blogs, podcasts, and digital news.

Our BDKs won the Supplier Sales Support Materials award within the Marketing Programs classification.

Sharing & Caring

Each year, we adopt 35 children (ages 8 months to 16 years) from the Benton County Sharing and Caring program, which provides Christmas gifts for children in need.

OC employees select children based off of age, gender, and wish list, and spend approximately $100 per child. On December 1^st, we will deliver all of the gifts to the Benton County Fairgrounds.

On Friday, November 15^th, we held a Bake Sale and Craft Fair which raised $700 to adopt seven children this holiday season.

Heart to Heart

All month long, OC team members collected shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and toothbrushes for Heart to Heart of NWA. For Christmas, they provide dinner, personal supplies, clothes, and toys to over 125 families in Northwest Arkansas.

Employment

With locations in Arkansas, California, and Texas, we currently employ over 400 people, but that number is always changing. Check out all of our employment updates for the month including new hires and open positions.

Promotions

We’re always working to help our team members grow in their current positions as well as advance to new roles and take on additional responsibilities. We’re proud to say 3 employees received promotions in November.
