Feed the Funnel
The Pack Shack is a local non-profit that prepares packaged meals and distributes them to communities with food insecure households. Food insecurity is defined as the limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe food.
We hosted a Feed the Funnel Party on the morning of Thursday, November 15th. We had three, 20-minute shifts so everyone who wanted to participate had the opportunity. We packed 4,500 meals
Sharing and Caring Sale
Each year, we adopt 35 children (ages 2 months to 15 years) from the Benton County Sharing and Caring program, which provides Christmas gifts for children in need.
OC employees select children based off of age, gender, and wish list, and spend approximately $100 per child. On December 3rd, we will deliver all of the gifts to the Benton County Fairgrounds.
On Friday, November 16th, we held a Bake Sale and Craft Fair which raised $1,000 to adopt ten children this holiday season.
Employee Emergency Fund Cap Sale
On Friday, November 9th, we had our annual internal hat sale benefiting the Employee Emergency (EE) Fund. Employees were able to browse our inventory of discontinued blank caps and samples and make purchases for a discounted price.
OC Employees were also able to purchase raffle tickets for cooler and Realtree bag which Sheri Hobbs ultimately won.
The EE Fund is money we raise internally to set aside for employees in need to help them financially during a difficult time in their lives.
United Way Campaign
We kicked off our annual United Way campaign in which employees pledge to donate a portion of each paycheck. We’re proud to announce that with over 50 employee contributions, we raised $9,176!
Bikes and Brews
Held on Friday, November 9th, Bikes and Brews is a 34-mile roundtrip ride hosted by BikeNWA and Bike Rack Brewing benefiting the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter. We donated the hats used for the event, and JUNK Brands donated the headbands.

With locations in Arkansas, California, and Texas, we currently employ 386 people, but that number is always changing. Check out all of our employment updates for the month including new hires and open positions.
Promotions
We’re always working to help our team members grow in their current positions as well as advance to new roles and take on additional responsibilities. We’re proud to say four employees received promotions in November.
