MillerCoors Licensee of the Year

We’re proud to announce that Outdoor Cap was selected as the 2016 MillerCoors Licensee of the Year!

This award is given to one licensee each year that consistently demonstrates elevation of the MillerCoors brand with target consumers, world class partnership attributes, and successful retail placement.

Summer Interns

We’re happy to welcome nine summer interns to the Outdoor Cap family. They’ll be with us all season working in various departments. Next month, they’ll have a luncheon with our CEO, Jim Haworth.

Professional Bull Riders & Outdoor Cap

Outdoor Cap has partnered with PBR and Walmart to bring retail-tainment events to select Walmart stores across the nation.

This photo, taken at the annual Walmart Shareholders Meeting, shows how these events will be set up. The bull trailer and cowboys will be set up at select stores in cities hosting PBR events. The cowboys will sign autographs, and PBR branded hats and shirts will be on sale. The events will start in August and run through the time of the PBR World Finals in November.

Fill the Bus

Outdoor Cap and JUNK Brands are currently participating in United Way’s Fill the Bus Campaign, which started June 19^th and runs through August 2^nd.

Each department was assigned different classroom items to collect including backpacks, kindermats, notebooks, and more. The bus will be filled on August 4^th and 5^th.

Employment

With locations in Arkansas, California, and Texas, we currently employ 339 people, but that number is always changing. Check out all of our employment updates for the month including promotions and new hires.

Promotions

We’re always working to help our team members grow in their current positions as well as advance to new roles and take on additional responsibilities. We’re proud to say we had an employee receive a promotion in June.

Emma Frierson

Emma joined the Outdoor Cap family in October 2017 as a production designer. She was recently promoted to the role of Product Designer in the Custom/Promo Design department.

New Hires

Outdoor Cap is constantly growing, and our team members very quickly become our family. Check out our newest additions for the month of June.

Talia Blanton

Talia is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas—Fort Smith. She recently accepted the position of Product Designer in the Retail/Non-Retail Design group.

Natalie Rodriguez

Natalie comes to us from Hollywood Signs & Printing; after recently graduating from John Brown University. She is filling the role of Production Designer on the Custom/Promo Design team in Emma’s absence.
