Sharing and Caring Sale
On Friday, June 15th, we held a Bake Sale benefitting the Benton County Sharing and Caring program, which provides Christmas gifts for children in need.
We raised over $200, and will have a second event in November.
Q2 Donation Drive
Our Corporate Citizenship Committee is responsible for selecting charities and events in the community for OC to partner with. They budget donation spending, organize volunteer groups, and so much more.
In 2018, they decided to select a cause each quarter and collection donations. For Q2, they chose the Single Parent Scholarship Fund and Havenwood. OC employees collected household items, and the Committee donated them on Thursday, June 21st.
Street Clean Up
On Friday, June 22nd, a team of OC volunteers picked up litter on our adopted street from Main Street at the Bentonville Square to 14th Street.
Employment
With locations in Arkansas, California, and Texas, we currently employ 401 people, but that number is always changing. Check out all of our employment updates for the month including new hires and open positions.
Promotions
We’re always working to help our team members grow in their current positions as well as advance to new roles and take on additional responsibilities. We’re proud to say four employees received promotions in June.
Araceli Castro Aguilar
Araceli has now accepted the position of Shift Lead on our Pick Pack team.
Ron Humble
Ron has transitioned to the role of Customer Care Trainer/Marketing Liaison.
Leah Matthews
Leah has now taken on the job of Project Lead on the Product Development team.
Jason Thornton
Jason has transitioned to the role of Patch Coordinator in our Embroidery department.
New Hires
Outdoor Cap is constantly growing, and our team members very quickly become our family. Check out our newest additions for the month of June.

Nick has joined our Embroidery department as a Patch Operator.

Calder has accepted the role of Domestic Order Specialist on our Custom Sales team.
