With over 20 years of experience as a Global Sourcing Executive, Benford brings a wealth of leadership experience designing and executing effective sourcing, product development, and manufacturing strategies.
Benford has a deep international background, having worked with Nike for 15 years, in which he managed Nike's Taipei, Taiwan apparel office for 3 years, Sears, Trimera Group and Strider Sports International, leading Sourcing and International Business Development. With a proven track record of establishing quality relationships, achieving significant cost savings, and maintaining a focus on product development and quality, Benford is poised to contribute significantly to Outdoor Cap’s success.
When asked about the most important element of his role, Benford emphasized the importance of people. He believes in developing their skills to become future leaders and key contributors to the long-term growth and success of Outdoor Cap.
