We take respect for human rights and compliance with labor laws very seriously, so we began our social responsibility program in 2000 and
have been associated with the FLA since 2002.
Outdoor Cap has a Workplace Code of Conduct, and we only select factory partners who share our commitment to ethical practices and agree to follow our Code. We work hard to protect, respect and support overseas workers just as we do our team members in the U.S.
Outdoor Cap has a dedicated Social Responsibility Team that includes a Social Responsibility Monitoring Manager and is led by the Director of
Social & Environmental Global Affairs. The Executive Vice-President of Global Procurement and Social Responsibility oversees the division.
The Social Responsibility Team works closely together with our factory partners to identify and evaluate areas of concern and risk through
auditing and remediation and to develop and strengthen skills through capacity building.
Outdoor Cap supports orphanages in Costa Rica, Vietnam, China and Sri Lanka. Because of this effort children are able to receive care, nourishment and medical attention.
